In 2003, Tyrone made his first attempt to enter the highly
prestigious "ARTS FOR THE PARKS" competition. This national show,
sponsored by the National Parks Commission, draws well over 2,000
entries yearly. Only 100 paintings are selected, and the prestige of
being a top artist in this renowned competition, draws artists from
all over the world. Tyrone's painting was selected in that 100, and
he now has work touring amongst fine public galleries across the
