"Heavenly Pearl (Semawi
Lulu)" Original
Acrylic - By Christine Borstel
|
| |
In her own words:
Christine recalls drawing horses before she could hold a pencil properly.
For as long as she can remember, painting and drawing have been a part of
her life.
After 20 years of working full time and raising a family, Christine now has
the time to paint and let her imagination run wild. She believes color
is as essential to painting as enthusiasm is to life. She wants to convey in
her work
the many expressions in a horse's eye and the exotic beauty of an
Arabian's dished face. She hopes her paintings of these beautiful
horses can convey what words can't - the wonder and admiration she
has for the breed.
I also paint sighthounds, and have many paintings and prints in
private collections. Art enables us to loose and find ourselves at
the same time. So I hope you can loose yourself for a few minutes
while looking at my work.
