Tracing ancestral roots from near Lexington , Kentucky, Diane Fitzgerald comes honestly by her love of equines. She is basically a self taught artist, painting horses, dogs, wildlife and rural art since childhood.  She has won many awards in many showings as well as illustrations for magazines and books. This woven with published writings .Diane has also bred, raced and shown many breeds of horses and hounds. She currently stands a Paint stallion and a Crabbet Arabian stallion at Colors Farm in Keremeos B.C. Diane works in Oils, Acrylic, Watercolors Pastel and Leather mediums. Diane distributes her time in life now with her four grandchildren , her artwork and her horses. Her main goal is to satisfy the aim of creating pieces for exhibitions concerning her main love, the Arabian horse in it's most artistic art form.
