“Life is a journey-Art is the vehicle”

For Joey Michelle, the essence of her artistic expression culminates from her love and appreciation of her life with her Salukis and Sloughi and their association with the Arabian horse.

The combination of classical training and experimentation with techniques and materials has led to her unique and individual artwork. Joey has worked in many mediums resulting in the metal pictures on backgrounds of handmade paper and her more recent introduction of her whimsical camels, “The Desert Divas”.

Joey has shown dogs and displayed her artwork for over 30 years. Her creations have been used as trophies by a number of Kennel Clubs.
