Imported from Great Britain, *Maarauder is the only son in the United States of Salon Du Cheval Reserve World Champion Stallion and British National Champion Stallion Crusader, himself a son of the famed Salaa El Dine. *Maarauder's dam, Maartrabbi, sired by Al Metrabbi out of Rancho Bulakenyo's Foundation mare RDM Maar Hala, was sold as a yearling to Dame Josephine Anderson where she founded the most important female line for Malthouse Stud in Devon, England. After producing three replacement daughters, Maartrabbi was purchased by Shirley and Charlie Watts' Halsdon Stud of Devonshire, England.
