    The mission of The Pyramid

  Foundation, Inc., is to enhance

   public  recognition and

appreciation of the Arabian horse

with an emphasis on the Egyptian

 Arabian horse through educational

  activities and publications,

  historical tours, and art featuring

  the Egyptian Arabian, as well as

 other charitable activities under

   the guidelines of a 501 (c) (3)

  nonprofit foundation.

     "During 2002 the Pyramid Foundation has worked on many fronts to perpetuate the history of the Egyptian Arabian through art, seminars, books, videos, and speakers," says Foundation president Christie Metz of Silver Maple Farm.

  "We're Excited about several new projects on the horizon, including a writing and visual art contest targeting schools in Lexington, Kentucky, and developing seminars from the Egyptian Event that will travel to other Arabian horse affairs.  Also, we're delighted that the Pyramid Board of Directors Has asked us to produce the 2003 Egyptian Event Finale, honoring the great stallion Nabiel, as part of the "Desert Legend Series".
